Summer Prayer for Peace
Note from Keith - From Billboard (issue date August
7, 1971): RE: THE ARCHIES SUMMER PRAYER FOR PEACE ". . .This compelling
ballad, a cut from their 'SUNSHINE' LP, went to NO 1 in South Africa & is
now released here. A different approach for the group, the moving Jeff
Barry material could prove a giant" --- Billboard ". . .Should repeat
(South Africa) success here as its' message is a universal one" ---
Record World ". . .Cheers for composer-producer Jeff Barry, who turns a
recital of population statistics into an impressive musical statement of
the world's need for peace"--- Bill Gavin's personal pick |
